Series of gardens for an 18th century Silkworm factory on the edge of the Cevennes mountains
A series of courtyards and balconies are designed to lead down to a private pool area. Bold forms of Laurus nobilis, Phillyrea angustifolia, Olea europaea and tightly clipped conical cypress hug gravel pathways, which are punctuated with the heady fragrance of Lavender, Rosemary and Santolina. The result is a dappled shady network of garden rooms for retreat and relaxation in the heat of the Mediterranean.
